Snow conditions are machine groomed packed powder on the slopes and R2 on the roads. We’re expecting more snow over the weekend. Weather tempertures will hold, making this one of the best weekends to snowboard or ski in Big Bear Lake.

Local Authors Sign Books for Holiday Gifts

The Big Bear Book & Bean is hosting a holiday shopping experience by bringing together local Big Bear authors to personalize their books for holiday gifts on Sunday, December 13th from 1:00 pm to 4:00pm at 634 Pine Knot Ave. The event will include free gift wrapping, holiday snacks and a chance to meet the authors. Christie Walker Bos will be signing her two romantic comedies The Write Man for Her and Getting Back to Delaney. Pastor Glenn Adkins will be signing Never a Dull Moment, stories of a gospel ministry in Topanga and Laurel Canyons, and John R. Beyer will be signing his mystery novel, Pursued. Chuck Gormley will be signing Trout Notes, a fishing guide to Big Bear, and Lee Cozad will be signing his two books, Mountain Movies and More Mountain Movies.
