Snow Conditions

Big Bear added to it’s snow totals today with another 14 inches of powder accumulating on the Mountain. Big Bear Resorts (Bear Mountain and Snow Summit) have a base of 18 to 30 inches of machine groomed packed powder.

The temperatures are cold and your edge will grip. Low temperatures will range from the high teens to the mid 20′s for the rest of the week. There is a chance of precipitation on both Thursday and Friday. The weekend conditions look outstanding.

Lift tickets for an adult during regular swason is $53 and is good for both resorts.

Snow Summit will sponsor the USASA Giant Slalom on Sunday. Click here for USASA website; http://www.usasa.org/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=29

Recorded on December 8, 2009 using a Flip Video camcorder.
