One of the most exciting and colorful traditions of the Old West is carried on right in Big Bear Valley when the Vaqueros de las Montanas stage their annual rodeo in Meadow Park, Big Bear Lake.

Since 1922 when the first rodeo was held here, this event has grown in magnitude and importance annually until today, with its competition between working cowboys of all San Bernardino County, the Labor Day rodeo is eagerly anticipated by competitors and spectators alike.
