In times such as these when the education budget is constantly being cut, it is invaluable to have the community’s support to help fund our kids’ education. That is why I wanted to make you aware that the Vons/Safeway 10 Percent Back to Schools promotion is going on now through October 13. What this means is that certain items you may have purchased in August and September could earn our local schools a donation of 10 percent of the items’ price. If you are already a supporter of eScrip, then the donation automatically goes to the school(s) you support. If you’re not, then from now until October 12, your Vons/Safeway receipt may have a redemption code at the bottom. I would really appreciate it if you would email me the redemption code and indicate to which of the following schools you would like it to go:
Big Bear Elementary
Big Bear Middle School
Big Bear High School PSA.
At this time, I am the scrip coordinator for all three of these schools, and I would very much appreciate your support of one of them, or all three – you can support up to three different organizations! If you’re not a registered eScrip supporter, please go to escrip.com and choose to support one, two, or all of the groups listed above. In order to register your Vons/Safeway card, you will need the actual number of the card – not your phone number. If you don’t know what your card number is, please call (800) SAFEWAY to get it. You can also register all of your debit and credit cards as well.
