In the event of a natural disaster or community related emergency, being self reliant confident and prepared is the most valuable personal tool you can have. Learn “HOW” to secure your home, lead your family to safety, administer first aid, extinguish small fires, turn off natural gas inlets, perform light search and rescue and become part of a communicative team.
The Big Bear City Fire Department is teaching leadership, communication, self assurance and emergency response protocols through a nationally recognized “hands on” volunteer training program called C.E.R.T. (Community Emergency Response Team). The next course will be offered Sept 25-29 2009 with a fee of $10 which covers all five days of this experientially packed certification training course.
Become a valuable member of your community, contact The Big Bear City Fire Department and register for your training today.
