Big Bear has lots of restaurants priced to fit any type of budget. From Burger King and Dominos to Stillwell’s and North Shore Café in Fawnskin, you’ll find a wide variety of local dining choices.
Old Country Inn is a great family restaurant located on Big Bear Blvd. They have an incredible section sure to please everyone. Steak and chicken dinners are priced from $12.95 to $21.95. The have a fantastic selection of salads, German food, pasta and gourmet burgers starting at $8.95.
Our favorite restaurant is the new Nepalese/Indian restaurant called Himalayan. They opened in the Village this summer with moderately priced entrees starting at $6.95.
The Himalayan restaurant serves a variety of chicken, lamb and fish curries along with a complete vegetarian selection. Unless you like your food really spicy, we suggest you order you dinner spiced either mild or medium. Be sure to try their specialty bread. They use a clay oven to make flat breads (naan) stuffed with either garlic, onions, mashed potatoes or chicken. They also make home made chai tea, it’s excellent!
