All year ‘roud –Winter and Summer—Big Bear City is easily reached via Victorville “The Desrt Road.” Pavement is followed over Cajon Pass and the desert to Victorville. After crossing the Mojave River an excellent desert road leads into the valley, joining Big Bear Lake Boulevard.
Summer Roads
(Rim of the World and Waterman Canyon)
Following Waterman Canyon out of San Bernardino, the motorist joins the famous “Rim of the World Drive.” The road drops gradually to the northern boundary of Big Bear Lake and it skirts its border to the eastern tip where we are “Building Big Bear City.”
