Lou Gramm Concert, July 4th, Big Bear, CA
Lou Gramm, former lead singer of Foreigner, will perform at Swin Beach in Big Bear Lake this July 4th. There will be a special appearance by Fastlane followed by the fireworks (Firework Map)
Tickets for this lakeside concert are available through the Parks and Recreation office (909) 866-9700. Prices range for $25 to $45, bleacher seating is open and first come first serve. The Swim Beach gates open at 5:00 PM with the concert beginning at 6:30 PM. Coolers are allowed, but not to exceed 12”x9”x9”. Parking at Meadow Park will cost $20, overflow parking is at Garstin.
According to Rec and Park’s Lorie Judd, “They’re all great seats—the furthest is only 90 feet from the stage! It’s going to be a great show. We’re also going to have great food vendors and the fireworks over Big Bear Lake after the show, so what could be better than that?”
Lou Gramm assembled a new band that features his two talented brothers, Richard Grammatico on bass and guitar (an original member of Black Sheep), and top session musician, Ben Grammatico on drums. Also on board is guitarist Don Mancuso, (another alumnus of Black Sheep) and keyboardist Andy Knoll.
“This line up is stripped down and very lean,” laughs Gramm, “but I like it this way. It’s a classic rock and roll band without the excess instrumentation. This is a strong group and it is wonderful to finally be working with my brothers who have always been successful and acclaimed musicians in their own right.”
