The Bellamy Brother Play Big Bear!
The Bellamy Brothers will perform in Big Bear Lake on Saturday, February 7, at 8:00 PM. They are sponsored by the Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center Foundation. (MAP)
Known for their “Country Gospel” music, the Bellamy Brothers have been performing to packed houses for 30 years. Their careers began in 1968, at the “Rattlesnake Roundup,” their home state of Florida. The brothers continued to play local clubs, singing backup for artists like Little Anthony and the Imperials and Percy Sledge. They catapulted to the national scene with their hit “Spiders & Snakes,” topping the charts by selling over three million records.
In 1976, they wrote “Let Your Love Flow,” which became popular both in the United State and Eurpoe. This allowed them to develop a fan base that still follows the group today.
As the years passed, faith and family became their inspirational focal point. “Whether delivering insightful social observations or sharing heartfelt revelations, the songs on “Jesus is Coming” are the most personal of the Bellamy Brothers’ long and extremely successful career. Yet the messages of hope, grace and redemption woven through these songs are the universal ties that bind all believers.”
Tickets for the Big Bear Lake performance are $49. Click here to purchase them online.
