August Frosty Night

Frosty Roof 8-8-09 6:30am

Frosty Roof 8-8-09 6:30am

I hope you brought your jackets and sweaters. The temperature plummeted during the night. Our neighbbor’s roof at dawn was a little disconcerting to see.

Have fun while you are up here.

If you aren’t sure what to do this weekend, don’t stumble over the Antique Cars. They are EVERYWHERE!

Wishing all a great morning from the mountains of Big Bear.

Oktoberfest Tickets On Sale

YES!

Hans Bandows - Founder

Hans Bandows - Founder of Big Bear Oktoberfest

NOW!

Buy your tickets for the 39th annual Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest now!

The highest altitude Oktoberfest celebration in the US is open for reservations. Celebrating 39 years in the tradition of Olde Germany, the Big Bear Lake Convention Center was built in the shape of an Oktoberfest tent from Bavaria.

The rest is history.

You will sample some of the best beers, straight from Germany. I’ve been blessed to taste the new Oktoberfest Brew for over 6 years, and each time the flavor is unique to the season and outstanding in flavor.
The German brewmasters don’t seem to allow the same flavor each year. Oktoberfest Brew is the sample of the year’s harvest. Each year, it has the unique bouquet and taste of that year’s harvest. And, is it GOOD!

Join us to salute the fresh taste of  2009!
